Aire del océano was an artist book based on my experiences in Gran Canaria in the fall of 2018. Through a series of drawings and texts, the piece moved between recent and remote memories of beaches and border crossings on the coasts of Spain, Italy, and Texas-Mexico. The bilingual English/Spanish, limited edition was risograph printed by Raum Press and translated by Irene de la Torre. The project was featured on The Island Review and on Harlequin Creature. Aire del océano was produced in January 2019.
