About the project: I grew up across the street from a sprawling greenbelt where every spring I would see countless varieties of Texas wildflowers in bloom until the weather became hot. This year was my first time back for an Austin spring after nearly a decade away. It was also likely to be my last spring here for many future years. By luck I was able to spend many days dipping across the street to walk my old trails and rediscover familiar flowers. This zine is a document of my time with this neighbor that changed by the week: the ephemeral flowers of a Texas spring.
